FAQ and Other Information
Hello! Below are some useful information and answers to popular questions:
SHIPPING
1. Do you ship worldwide?
I have an Etsy for my international customers! You can access it here.
In case Etsy doesn't ship to your area, here is a list of package forwarders that international customers may use. It's an additional process and I recommend customers look into these options (I've never used it before so I won't be able to provide much information):
- MyUS
- Shipito
- Planet Express
- Shippn
2. How long will it take for me to receive my package?
I currently work a full-time job and am balancing other activities so, please give me 3-6 weeks processing time (not including shipping time) to fulfill your orders. Most products are made-to-order so it may take awhile to ship in materials.
As with most things in life, not everything goes smoothly and there may be some hiccups from time to time like a delay in base material shipment (if only everything could run on an Amazon Prime speed :P ) or my machine needing a repair so if there's a delay in your order, I will notify you.
3. I haven't gotten my package yet. What can I do?
Once your order has shipped that means it has left my hands. It is considered your property now. If you feel like your order has been lost or has not moved in some time you should contact the respective mail courier and file a dispute with them. I won't be able to issue refunds in the event that a courier service loses your package as I am not affiliated with them in any way.
4. Do you collect customs fees?
I do not collect customs fees so it makes this process a Delivered at place (DAP) which means that I am only responsible for shipping the product, and that the customer (you) is responsible for paying any import costs to the shipping carrier, such as VAT, duties and clearing fees, upon delivery.
HOWEVER, you can avoid custom fees if you declare them yourself. Read this article for instruction on how to do so (it may differ from country to country).
*For Canadian customers, consider using USPS as the mail courier when you check out! They do not have brokerage fees like UPS when your package gets dropped off (at least from what I've researched on)
5. I'm in the Seattle area, do you have a pick up option?
Yes! I want to help people save money on shipping costs so I'm offering pick ups if you're around the Seattle area. Most likely will choose UW as the meeting spot. Customers who choose pick up will get a message from me on when and where to meet.
RESTOCK / RETURN / EXCHANGE
1. Will you restock items that are sold out?
Of course I will! I plan on working on a cycle system when restocking some of my old items. With each restock, I'll choose several collections/items to restock since I now have too many designs to handle a full restock. I'll post updates on Instagram about restock information.
2. Can I return/exchange/cancel an order?
All orders placed are final sale due to the handmade nature of the products (with most things made to order). However, if you email in for a cancellation before I’ve submitted the orders for production, I can be flexible. In terms of returns and exchanges, I'm a one person team and it's not in my bandwidth to offer returns or exchanges at the moment. This is why reading size charts and information is super crucial! Please do not email about returns or exchanges as I am strict on this policy.
However, please do contact me at wongderfullycreated@gmail.com if you have questions about your order and I can try to help! If there is something wrong with your item, I ask that you reach out to be 5 days after you've received your item.
WASHING CARE + MISC
1. What's the best way to take care of my embroidered apparel?
- Hand wash or machine wash with cold water and hang it up to air dry (machine drying will result in a higher risk of damage to the embroidery and shrinkage of fabric for the sweaters with satin appliqué)
- Avoid ironing directly on embroidered area. Use another piece of cloth to separate the iron from the embroidery.
2. What are SAMPLE DESIGN, TRIAL DESIGN and B-Grade items?
- Sample design items are items that I use for my product photos! They are not worn and don't have defects. They are ready to ship and honestly, I just need help ridding them from my closet.
- Trial design items are items that have designs that I decided not to include in the shop so they are one of a kind in a sense!
- B-grade items are items that have some defect to them. They don't meet my standards for full price so they are discounted heavily for those who don't mind the defects.
3. Are the items prewashed?
No the items are not prewashed.
4. Are all the sizes in men/unisex?
Most items are unisex sizing unless stated otherwise.
